Foot Care Program

Our Foot Care began in 1991 when a need for community based foot care services was identified. This service is provided by a Registered Nurse who has the additional training by a Certified Foot Care Nurse (CFCN) through a national nursing board.

We provide a medically based foot care program which differs greatly from pedicures. RN’s are experienced with health issues and how they impact the foot. RN’s have specialized training in advanced foot care, the most common issues include:  reducing/ removing corns and calluses, nails with fungus, ingrown nails and reduction of very thick nails. Foot Care is private pay only (Insurances don’t cover except Medicare, if you are a diabetic having a current infection or open sores).

Who would need this service?

Patients with diabetes, neuropathy (decreased or no feeling in feet), peripheral vascular disease (poor circulations), venous stasis issues in the lower leg (poor circulation in veins), those taking prednisone, blood thinners and other medications require expert foot care by an RN with particular training in these issues.
